Exploring Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Chinese Culture

Dear Readers,

Welcome to our inaugural blog post! As a traditional Chinese martial arts master, born in the year of the Wooden Dragon (木龙, Mù lóng), this year (2024) marks the beginning of a new cycle in my life. It is a moment of deep reflection and renewal, and it is with this spirit that I initiate this blog. In this year we also commemorate the two-year anniversary of the passing of our esteemed grandmaster, Chan Kwok Wai (陳國偉, Chén Guówěi). His legacy is a beacon that continues to guide us.

Our Mission

This blog is conceived as a tribute to Grandmaster Chan Kwok Wai and as a commitment to the preservation of our martial arts heritage. We aim to fortify our community of Kung Fu (國術, Kuóshù / 功夫, Gōngfu), Tai Chi (太極拳, Tàijíquán) and Qigong (氣功, Qìgōng) practitioners, enriching both students and teachers with profound knowledge and insights. Beyond martial topics, we will also explore the vast panorama of Chinese culture, its traditions, history, and philosophies that have sculpted these practices over millennia.
